Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an IT Infrastructure Security Engineer responsible for monitoring, planning, designing, and deploying secure Epic and related production environments. The role emphasizes security solutions, platform upgrades, and high availability across on-prem and cloud components.

The candidate will work with diverse technical teams to ensure proactive support, performance optimization, and adherence to best practices in security and operations. This position is based in Greensboro, NC.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years experience in planning, design, and implementation of security solutions.
• Minimum two (2) years experience in configuration, implementation, troubleshooting, and operation of security technologies.
• Minimum one (1) year in a technical leadership role with or without direct reports.
• Bachelor's degree required; six (6) years IT operations experience acceptable in lieu of degree.
