Job summary

Alexander Technology Group seeks a Senior Governance Analyst (Contract) to strengthen IT governance, risk, and compliance programs. The role partners with Infrastructure, Information Security, Audit, and Enterprise Risk to ensure policies and asset management align with best practices and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years in IT governance, risk, security, or technology audit.
• Experience with governance frameworks including NIST, ISO 27001, COBIT, and ITIL.
• Hands-on with ITSM/ITAM platforms such as ServiceNow, Jira, or Flexera.
• Strong understanding of technology risk, controls, audit readiness, and compliance.
• Experience supporting SSDLC and CI/CD governance.
• Excellent communication skills translating tech concepts to policies.
• CISA, CRISC, or CISSP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve IT policies, standards, and governance processes.
• Align technology governance with NIST, ISO 27001, COBIT, and ITIL frameworks.
• Manage the lifecycle of enterprise hardware, software, and technology assets.
• Maintain software and hardware asset inventories (CMDB/SAM) and coordinate upgrades/retirements.
• Conduct technology risk assessments and partner with Information Security on risk mitigation.
• Support internal and external technology audits by coordinating evidence and remediation.
• Assist with identity and access governance including periodic reviews and role management.
• Partner with Engineering, Finance, Vendor Management, and Enterprise Risk to improve governance and processes.
