Great Waters Federal, part of the Seneca Nation Group, is seeking a Senior IT Governance Specialist for the National Capital Region or remote work. The role establishes, maintains, and enforces IT governance framework aligned with business goals, ensuring regulatory compliance and managing IT risk.

Responsibilities include guiding IT governance strategy, refining ARB/ITGB processes, and coordinating with the Governance Team to drive transformation and AI use-case oversight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology related field with 10+ years of IT experience.
• Eligible candidates include U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, and those holding H1B visas.
• Must be able to successfully complete, pass, and maintain a public trust investigation.
• Strong data governance theory, principles, practices, and methodologies.
• 10+ years' experience in data governance, data analysis, data management in a large enterprise environment.
• Experience with data cataloging, business glossary development, lineage, and metadata enrichment.
• Excellent written and verbal skills; stakeholder management.
