Job summary

Southern Orthodontic Partners seeks a Senior Technology Experience Technician to resolve escalated IT issues across dental practices. You will own complex problems spanning workstations, clinical apps, and practice connectivity while coordinating with vendors to ensure resolution.

The role requires solid depth in Windows, Microsoft 365, Intune, and Entra ID, with HIPAA security awareness and on-site support across multiple sites. Travel is approx. 10% and after-hours on-call may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelors degree in information technology or related field.
• Experience in a Level 2/escalation role across a distributed, multi-site organization.
• Willingness to travel to partner practices (approx. 10%).
• Ability to work standard M-F with after-hours/on-call as needed.

Responsibilities

• Take escalations from Level 1 and resolve advanced issues across workstations, printers, and devices.
• Troubleshoot and support practice management and clinical applications; coordinate with vendors.
• On-site support for multi-site practices and go-lives; maintain timely status updates.
• Lead onboarding/offboarding and access requests; manage device deployment.
• Document issues and contribute to knowledge base; mentor Level 1 staff.
