RGP is seeking a highly experienced D365 Functional Expert – Finance & Accounting to support a large-scale Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance transformation initiative. This role serves as the lead functional subject matter expert, partnering with finance, accounting, operations, and technology stakeholders to design, configure, and optimize D365 Finance solutions.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in finance systems, accounting operations, ERP transformation, or related functional leadership roles.
• Deep expertise with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and/or Dynamics AX.
• Proven experience leading multiple full lifecycle D365 implementations.
• Strong accounting and finance background with expertise in AP & AR, Fixed Assets, Consolidations.
• Experience partnering with business and technical teams to deliver enterprise-scale solutions.
• Strong requirements gathering, process design, documentation, and training experience.

Responsabilités

• Lead D365 Finance functional design, configuration, and deployment activities throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Facilitate workshops with business stakeholders to gather requirements, identify process improvements, and develop future-state solutions.
• Configure and optimize D365 Finance modules including: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash & Bank Management, Budgeting & Forecasting, Project Accounting, Expense Management, Tax, Financial Reporting and Consolidations.
• Conduct fit-gap assessments and develop functional specifications, process flows, testing plans, and training materials.
• Collaborate with technical teams on integrations, data migration, reporting, workflows, security, and customizations.
• Lead system testing efforts, including SIT, UAT, regression testing, and defect resolution.
• Support data conversion activities including mapping, cleansing, validation, reconciliation, and sign-off.
• Deliver end-user training and drive adoption across accounting and finance teams.
• Provide post-go-live support and continuous improvement recommendations.

This individual will serve as the lead functional subject matter expert, partnering with finance, accounting, operations, and technology stakeholders to design, configure, and optimize D365 Finance solutions.

The ideal candidate combines deep accounting and finance expertise with extensive hands-on experience leading D365 Finance implementations and driving ERP transformation efforts.

This is Project Consulting work

$85-90hr

What You Will Work On

Lead D365 Finance functional design, configuration, and deployment activities throughout the implementation lifecycle.

Facilitate workshops with business stakeholders to gather requirements, identify process improvements, and develop future-state solutions.

Configure and optimize D365 Finance modules including:

What You Will Bring

15+ years of experience in finance systems, accounting operations, ERP transformation, or related functional leadership roles.

Deep expertise with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and/or Dynamics AX.

Proven experience leading multiple full lifecycle D365 implementations.

Strong accounting and finance background with expertise in:

AP & AR

Fixed Assets

Consolidations

Internal Controls

Audit Support

Experience partnering with business and technical teams to deliver enterprise-scale solutions.

Strong requirements gathering, process design, documentation, and training experience.

Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

CPA and/or MBA

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance certifications

Experience supporting multi-entity, multi-currency, and global environments

Experience with BlackLine, Alteryx, Salesforce, and/or ADP

Prior consulting experience

Experience supporting finance transformation, shared services, or process standardization initiatives
