Job summary

Entrust Corporation is seeking a Principal IT Engineer to serve as a senior, customer-facing technical expert for Americas Professional Services. You will lead architecture, deployment, and optimization of Entrust issuance solutions, while guiding partners and clients through complex problems and trusted engagements.

The role emphasizes senior escalation, consulting with pre-sales teams, and cross-functional collaboration. Travel across the Americas is required to support customers and programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 15+ years of experience in senior engineering roles such as systems integrator, architect or consultant.
• Deep experience with card personalization and issuance environments, including EMV and production-management solutions.

Responsibilities

• Act as senior escalation resource for complex Professional Services issues across the Americas.
• Engage with customers on-site and remotely to understand requirements and propose solutions.
• Mentor teams and create reusable documentation, deployment notes and best-practice playbooks.
• Identify sustainable improvements and support cross-functional initiatives to improve delivery.
