Job summary

Kalshi is hiring a Senior IT Engineer to own the New York office's technology experience, reporting to the SRE lead. You will handle IT support, onboarding, security tooling, and compliance tech, while collaborating with the SRE and compliance teams.

You will enable executive stakeholders, manage device provisioning and licensing, and help build scalable IT processes as Kalshi grows its presence in the prediction markets arena.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years IT experience in tech or financial services.
• Own IT operations end-to-end (hardware, networking, SaaS, access management).
• Experience with IAM platforms such as Okta.
• Familiarity with SOC 2 and ISO 27001 security standards.
• Experience supporting executive stakeholders.
• Strong ownership mentality and initiative.
• Comfortable in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.

Responsibilities

• Own the NY office technology experience: hardware, software, networking, workspace setup.
• Lead IT onboarding for all new hires.
• Provide dedicated tech support to senior leadership.
• Partner with SRE and compliance teams on compliance tech.
• Manage endpoints, MDM, access controls and software licensing.
• Build and maintain IT processes and runbooks for scale.
• InfoSec & DevOps on-ramp opportunities with the SRE team.
