Job summary

Strava in San Francisco is seeking a Senior IT Engineer to design and operate a modern, scalable enterprise IT stack. You will optimize cloud apps, manage endpoints, security, and IT operations, and drive automation and integration across our stack while partnering with IT leadership.

This role embraces a flexible hybrid model with on-site days in our SF office and a strong emphasis on privacy, IAM, and clear documentation to guide the team as we scale.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience implementing and configuring core enterprise applications.
• Strong knowledge of endpoint management, security, and IT operations.
• Experience with cloud platforms and integration tooling.
• Proficiency with scripting to automate IT tasks.
• Familiarity with data privacy and access governance practices.
• Ability to document architectures and processes clearly.

Responsibilities

• Act as a domain expert to optimize enterprise cloud apps and governance.
• Automate business IT workflows and integrations across the stack.
• Secure endpoints using recognized frameworks and conduct access audits.
• Implement data privacy processes with legal and security teams.
• Lead patching and vulnerability management for company laptops.
• Provide Tier 2 IT support and mentor junior team members.
• Create architecture diagrams and business process flows.
• Define and pursue the technical vision for the team.
