Job summary

Strava, Inc. is seeking a Senior IT Engineer to own and optimize our core enterprise IT stack. You will automate processes, manage endpoint security, and integrate cloud apps while collaborating with security and IT leadership to keep systems secure and productive.

You’ll lead patching, implement privacy programs with legal, and build clear documentation and architecture diagrams to guide the IT function from the ground up in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience implementing, managing, and customizing corporate applications such as Google Workspace, Slack, JIRA, Notion and Linear.

Responsibilities

• Act as a domain expert and optimize core enterprise cloud applications including messaging, storage, identity management and governance.
• Work cross-functionally to automate business processes and IT workflows with scalable integrations across the stack using APIs and iPaaS tools.
• Partner with IT leadership and security to secure endpoints using NIST-like frameworks and perform regular user access audits.
• Implement data privacy processes in collaboration with legal and security teams.
• Evaluate and implement tools for data loss prevention and disaster recovery.
• Lead and automate patching for company laptops to manage vulnerabilities.
• Provide Tier 2 support for IT incidents and mentor junior team members.
• Build and maintain architecture diagrams and business process flows.
• Define the technical vision with your manager and help implement it.
