KBR is seeking a Senior IT Development Lead to spearhead design, development, and delivery of enterprise software solutions. You will provide technical leadership across teams, ensure scalable, secure, and maintainable systems, and promote Agile, DevOps practices, and modern software engineering.

The role emphasizes strong Microsoft tech expertise, collaboration with global teams, and delivering value for critical infrastructure and mission-critical applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 8+ years of software development with a focus on the Microsoft stack.
• Proven experience leading development teams and delivering enterprise-scale applications.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum software delivery environments.
• Experience supporting production systems and resolving complex technical issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead development teams in design, development, implementation, and support of enterprise applications.
• Serve as technical leader for architecture, integration strategies and best practices.
• Drive development and maintenance including coding, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Establish priorities, manage timelines, ensure delivery aligned with IT strategy.
• Guide DevOps adoption: CI/CD, automated testing, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Partner with stakeholders to define requirements and deliver technology solutions.
• Evaluate existing systems and plan modernization initiatives.
• Ensure availability, reliability, performance, and scalability of applications.
• Provide leadership in resolving complex technical issues and incidents.
• Develop architecture docs, specs, and development standards.
• Lead Agile delivery: sprint planning, reviews, retros, continuous improvement.
• Coordinate across global teams, vendors, and partners.
• Mentor and support developers with technical guidance.
