Job summary

Pivotal Solutions is seeking an IT Data Analyst in New York to work across multiple applications, owning system architecture and interfacing with vendors. The role emphasizes turning business needs into technical designs and coordinating changes from third-party systems to in-house solutions.

You will support business partners and IT teams, develop SQL queries, manage data warehousing operations, and improve processes using Power BI, SSRS, and PowerShell.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 5+ years of data analysis, problem solving, scripting, reporting, and data warehouse work.
• 3+ years of SQL query development.
• Experience with Power BI, SSRS, and PowerShell preferred.

Responsibilities

• Resolve a wide range of issues with advanced knowledge and creative thinking.
• Serve as subject matter expert for multiple applications and coordinate changes with vendors.
• Conduct product research and evaluate software against requirements.
• Oversee data warehouse operations, troubleshoot and fix issues.
• Translate business requirements into software designs aligned with tech direction.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams on solution direction.
• Develop standards, processes, and documentation for the team.
