Job summary

Delta Solutions & Strategies in Colorado Springs seeks an experienced IT Director to lead the company’s information technology and cybersecurity functions. This position directs security, reliability, and performance of Delta’s technology environment for employees, leadership, and government customers.

The IT Director will oversee day-to-day IT operations, Microsoft 365 and cloud services, cybersecurity compliance, infrastructure, user support, and technology planning.

Qualifications

• Progressive experience leading enterprise IT and cybersecurity environments.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and cloud services in a government contracting setting.
• Familiarity with DoD security requirements and federal compliance programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead Delta’s IT and cybersecurity strategy, operations, and planning.
• Oversee GCC High, Azure Government, Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint and related services.
• Manage IT infrastructure, networks, endpoints, backups, and disaster recovery.
• Lead identity and access management, patching, vulnerability management, and monitoring.
• Drive CMMC Level 2 and NIST SP 800-171 compliance efforts and evidence collection.
• Support RMF, eMASS, DCSA compliance activities for government systems.
• Maintain IT policies, documentation, inventories, and compliance records.
• Oversee onboarding/offboarding, provisioning, equipment deployment, and user support.
• Manage vendors, licenses, purchases, renewals, and technology budgeting.
• Respond to cybersecurity incidents, audits, and customer requests; evaluate new technologies.
• Advise leadership on risks, infrastructure priorities, and future investments.
