Job summary

Onyx Point, Inc. Information Technology Senior Consultant role in Hanover, MD requires active TS/SCI clearance. You will develop and maintain complex software systems with a focus on analytics and real-time processing using React/JavaScript, Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.

The candidate should be proficient with Git/Gitlab and familiar with Jira/Confluence. We offer flexible remote options, a competitive compensation range up to $250,000, and comprehensive benefits and development

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with full-scope polygraph clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
• Proficiency with React and JavaScript.
• Proficiency with Git/Gitlab and some CI/CD experience.
• Experience with Helm, Kubectl, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Docker.
• Familiar with FluxCD, OAuth2 Proxy, Jira and Confluence.
• Develops, maintains, and enhances complex software systems based on documented requirements.
• Reviews and tests software components for adherence to design requirements and documents test results.
• Uses software development methodologies suitable to the environment.
• Provides input on system design including hardware/software trade-offs and requirements synthesis from system level to components.
• Provides Help Desk Support; ticket handling using JIRA.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains complex software systems including analytics and real-time processing.

• Applies appropriate software development methodologies to the project.
• Contributes to system design trade-offs and requirements synthesis.
• Provides ticket-based Help Desk support via JIRA.
