Job summary

Arizona Public Service is seeking a senior IT regulatory compliance professional to oversee compliance programs, licensing, and audits. You will work with I&O teams to ensure CIP and related regulatory requirements are met and training is delivered across the organization.

The role requires a strong background in federal/state IT regulations, effective communication, and leading large cross‑functional initiatives within a major utility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field required.
• 7+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of IT, federal/state regulations, compliance policies and programs.
• Experience in program development roles: SOX, NERC CIP, Export Control or HIPAA.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT regulatory staff in development and administration of regulatory compliance programs.
• Develop and administer regulatory programs including policy creation, communication and compliance.
• Prepare and file licenses and reports to government/regulatory agencies.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure regulatory compliance and oversee exceptions.
• Review department actions to mitigate exceptions and audit implementation success.
• Develop training related to regulatory issues and ensure staff knowledge.
