Job summary

Qualifications

• 4–6 years in sourcing and category management.
• Experience with IT spend categories including software, SaaS, cloud, hardware, telecom, cybersecurity, and services.
• Ability to analyze spend data and market trends to support decisions.
• Experience negotiating terms and managing sourcing events.
• Familiarity with contract language and procurement policies.
• Proficiency with procurement and contract management systems.
• Strong analytical and financial acumen.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Manage IT spend categories, strategy development, sourcing execution, and performance monitoring.
• Conduct market research, spend analysis, and benchmarking to identify opportunities for cost optimization and risk reduction.
• Lead sourcing events like RFPs, RFIs, and negotiations for IT products, services, and solutions.
• Analyze supplier proposals and pricing structures to support informed decisions.
• Collaborate with IT stakeholders to align sourcing strategies with operational needs.
• Support contract development with category insights and supplier data.
• Monitor supplier performance and drive corrective actions and continuous improvement.
• Maintain category plans and supplier records in procurement systems.
• Contribute to development of sourcing processes, tools, and templates.
• Support budgeting and forecasting with category-level insights.
