Job summary

Covenant Health in Knoxville, TN seeks a Senior Application Analyst to define, implement, and support software applications across IT care management and perioperative teams. You will interface with end-users and other IT groups to identify and resolve application issues and lead upgrade initiatives.

Responsibilities include creating specifications, maintaining integration points, ensuring data quality, and coordinating project activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum six (6) years Information Systems or relevant functional area.
• Two (2) years of IT project management experience.
• Professional/clinical licensure (RN, ARRT, etc.) may be required based on assigned applications.

Responsibilities

• Formulate / define solution scope and objectives based on user needs.
• Prepare detailed specifications for configuration, tables, scripts or programs.
• Analyze and revise existing system logic and document as necessary.
• Build and maintain application integration points.
• Lead application software version upgrades and modifications.
• Assist in establishing systems analysis, programming, and computer operations priorities.
• Ensure data quality through audits and resolving data conflicts.
• Oversee project phases and coordinate resources and schedules.
• Document specifications including data and job flows.
• Develop deep understanding of products to support customers.
• Work with vendors to design and code enhancements to applications.
• Act as customer advocate with Vendor development.
• Identify opportunities for automation to satisfy information needs.
• Provide reports, information, and data files.
