Job summary

INA Solution Inc. in Albany, NY is seeking an IT Specialist - Cabling to lead and assess large-scale network cabling installations, including Cat6 and fiber, at NYS OMH facilities. The role focuses on onsite evaluation and technical guidance for distribution infrastructure.

The consultant will write SOWs, update ITSM requests, schedule cabling work, and coordinate on-site vendor visits to ensure requirements are met and projects are delivered successfully.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience with network cabling and large-scale installations.
• Experience with Cat6 and fiber optic cabling.
• 1 year of experience in ITSM processes.
• Proven ability to manage multiple assignments concurrently.
• Experience performing onsite vendor walkthroughs and documenting work.

Responsibilities

• Perform onsite assessments of NYS OMH facilities for cabling upgrades.
• Write Statement of Work (SOW) for cabling projects.
• Update requests in ITSM and coordinate scheduling.
• Coordinate on-site visits with cabling vendors.
