Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements related to distribution centre operations and IT systems.
Analyse current processes and workflows to identify areas for improvements, and recommend technology solutions to streamline operations.
Work closely with development, integration and testing teams to implement software changes that meet business needs, ensuring minimal disruption to distribution centre activities.
Serve as a liaison between IT and business units, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project goals, timelines, and deliverables.
Deploy new and current systems, processes, and procedures in a cost-effective manner.
Configure system settings, plan, and execute unit, system and integration tests and lead cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems enhancements for SAP.
Stay current with industry trends on customs, trade compliance and emerging technologies and assess their potential impact on the company's IT and business processes.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, systems and project activities
Required Knowledge and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
5+ years’ experience as an IT Business Analyst, IT Technical Analyst, SAP consultant with a preferred focus on warehousing and distribution.
In-depth knowledge of industry best practices and terminology related to distribution and/or trade compliance.
Understanding of IT change processes and/or SAP solution delivery processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with IT systems and technologies used in distribution centres.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Some level of travel may be required to support project requirements
Some out of hours work will be required, including attending virtual meetings in different time zones
Experience with SAP GTS preferred, but not mandatory
Experience with SAP S4HANA and/or SAP EWM implementations preferred, but not mandatory
Experience with the Medical Technology sector preferred, but not mandatory
Experience in APAC region and understanding of regional distribution challenges preferred, but not mandatory
