Job summary

AT&T in Dallas, TX seeks a Senior IT Auditor to execute risk assessments, audits, and advisory activities ensuring security, compliance, and operational integrity of the technology environment. You will plan risk-based audits, validate actions, and report to leadership.

Role requires at least 3 years’ experience, strong IT controls understanding, and ability to communicate technical issues to senior leadership. Office presence of 5 days/week is required; no relocation offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree desired in IT/IS, cybersecurity, accounting, finance or related field.
• At least 3 years of related experience; preferred with a public accounting or consulting firm.
• Strong IT risk and control knowledge across governance, cybersecurity, data privacy and cloud infra.
• Experience applying data analytics to audits; AI/automation tools preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for leadership audiences.
• CIA or CISA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Audit Planning: develop risk-based plans and procedures.
• Audit Execution: assess design and operating effectiveness of controls.
• Compliance & Standards: evaluate adherence to policies and standards (COBIT/ISO 27001).
• Documentation: prepare audit workpapers and conclusions.
• Issue Validation: monitor remediation and validate corrective actions.
• Advisory & Innovation: advise on IT controls; leverage audit tech and analytics.
• Other duties to support the audit function.
