Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of internal controls, audit methodology, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance concepts.
• Professional certification preferred (CIA/CPA/CRCM/CFSA/CBA/CRP/CISA or similar).
• 3-5 years of progressive experience in internal audit.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze data and interview bank personnel to understand the control environment.
• Design IT audit and testing strategies to achieve audit objectives.
• Prepare audit workpapers and summaries with risk assessments.
• Present findings and recommendations to management and Audit Committees.
• Assist external auditors, regulators during examinations.
• Maintain knowledge of best practices and apply to audits.
