Job summary

Ahold Delhaize is seeking a Senior IT Auditor to join Internal Audit, focusing on technology-enabled processes and controls across a large retail technology landscape. You will lead risk assessments, partner with stakeholders, and translate complex tech topics into business insights.

The role offers flexible work arrangements, certification support, and opportunities to grow within a global retail organization. Travel up to 10–20% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Information Management, or a related field
• 4–8 years of experience in IT audit, technology risk, consulting, external audit, or related field
• Experience assessing technology risks and controls across cloud, SAP, cybersecurity, enterprise applications, digital platforms, infrastructure, store technology, or supply chain systems
• Certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, AZ-500, or equivalent
• Experience leading audit engagements or complex assessments from planning through reporting
• Strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to build trusted relationships with senior business and technology leaders
• Strong communication skills translating technical concepts into business insights
• Understanding of emerging technologies including cloud, automation, AI, and analytics
• Ability to travel within the United States up to 10-20%

Responsibilities

• Lead risk assessments, audit planning, fieldwork, reporting, and follow-up activities
• Assess the design and effectiveness of technology and business controls
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and risk management practices
• Translate complex observations into clear, actionable recommendations
• Present findings to management and senior stakeholders
• Coach and support team members throughout audit engagements
• Build strong relationships across business and technology functions
• Identify emerging risks and help shape the future audit plan
