Allianz Asset Management is seeking a Lead IT Auditor in Newport Beach to assess IT, cyber, cloud, and data risks across our global asset management business. The role offers high visibility and close collaboration with senior stakeholders in a strong control environment.

You will plan and deliver risk-based IT audits, communicate findings to management, and contribute to continuous improvement with data-driven approaches.

Qualificações

• At least 5 years of IT audit/external audit/IT consulting or similar tech risk role.
• Degree in Information Technology, Business Informatics or related field; certifications such as CISA, CISSP, COBIT or ITIL are a plus.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, information security, cyber security, cloud, IT governance and general IT controls.
• Experience with data analytics and tools like PowerBI, Excel; analytics tools such as Python, TeamMate Analytics or IDEA is an advantage.
• Financial services or asset management experience is beneficial, with strong stakeholder skills.
• Fluent English; German is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% per year.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, lead and deliver risk-based IT and integrated audits across Allianz Asset Management.
• Assess technology, cyber security, cloud, infrastructure, and data-related risks and provide independent insights on controls.
• Identify weaknesses and provide practical, business-oriented recommendations; communicate audit results to stakeholders and senior management.
• Build trusted relationships with auditees and senior stakeholders, challenging effectively while supporting a strong control culture.
• Contribute to audit quality, coaching, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement, including data-driven audit approaches.
