Job summary

Transamerica is seeking an IT Audit professional to conduct complex IT audit projects, evaluate internal controls, and advise on IT risk across the organization. The role requires collaboration with management and external auditors to ensure effective governance.

The ideal candidate will have 3 years IT audit experience, strong communication skills, and a solid grounding in IT security, disaster recovery, and control environments. This position is on-site with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in MIS, computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3 years IT audit experience.
• Knowledge of IT controls, security, and disaster recovery concepts.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for all levels of the organization.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Proficiency with MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist management in planning and conducting IT audit projects, including risk-based assessments.
• Evaluate internal controls and provide practical recommendations.
• Serve as technical advisor on IT aspects of audits.
• Audit IT operations to verify controls are designed and operating effectively; prepare clear reports.
• Determine proper configurations of technical systems and operations.
• Assist outside auditors to expedite completion.
• Stay current with IT trends and best practices.
