Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Architecture, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering or related field preferred, or four years of relevant experience required.
• Extensive technical knowledge of healthcare information systems, data management, networks, and security practices.
• Experience with SDLC, Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Strong business process analysis and service delivery experience with EMR/ERP/CRM systems.
• Security model understanding and data governance experience.
• Solid BI/Data Warehouse design experience including data integration with ETL.

Responsibilities

• Develop the information system vision and strategic plans aligned to organizational goals.
• Evaluate proposed system acquisitions for cost, scalability, and maintainability; propose improvements.
• Lead architecture design initiatives and guide teams through complex implementations.
• Establish and enforce technical standards and pro­cedures across multiple technology domains.
• Collaborate across business and technical teams to translate requirements into architecture.
• Maintain knowledge of current technologies and certifications relevant to healthcare IT.
• Support capacity planning, performance modeling, and reliability improvements.
• Drive data integration and BI initiatives using ETL and big data tools.
