Job summary

Protective is seeking an experienced Senior IT Architect to drive enterprise-scale solutions on the Microsoft stack. You will design, build, modernize, and support complex applications and integrations while ensuring security, scalability, and maintainable code.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, provide technical guidance to developers, and produce clear architectural documentation to support delivery and long-term maintainability.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive experience in software engineering, system design, and application architecture.
• Extensive experience in the Microsoft technology stack: C#, .NET / .NET Core, ASP.NET, Web APIs, and SQL Server.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to and shape solution architecture across application, integration, data, and infrastructure layers within a Microsoft-centric ecosystem.
• Actively design, write, review, and optimize production-grade code using C#, .NET, and related frameworks.
• Design and implement solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure, including compute, storage, and integration services.
• Partner with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Produce and maintain clear technical documentation, including architecture diagrams and operational guidance.
