Job summary

Protective is seeking a Senior IT Architect to contribute to the design and delivery of enterprise-scale systems on the Microsoft stack. You will shape architecture across application, integration, data, and infrastructure layers, and work with stakeholders to ensure scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive software engineering, system design, and application architecture.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft stack: C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET, Web APIs, SQL Server.
• Experience as architect and hands-on senior developer on large, complex systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Strong problem-solving and performance optimization.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to solution architecture across application, integration, data, and infrastructure within a Microsoft-centric ecosystem.
• Design scalable, secure, and resilient systems using modern architectural patterns.
• Write production-grade code and perform code reviews.
• Design APIs and system integrations using REST, messaging, and events.
• Provide technical guidance and maintain architecture diagrams and documentation.
