Job summary

Fairweather is seeking an IT Administrator/Support IV to join our Alaska team. The role focuses on maintaining secure administration environments, documenting procedures, and leading infrastructure upgrades while coordinating with application teams.

The position requires senior IT experience (7+ years), strong problem solving, and the ability to guide others within the department. Expect a rotation of 3 weeks on, 3 weeks off, with a comprehensive benefits package.

• Provides specialized/technical guidance to team members.

Responsibilities

• Document network and operating procedures.
• Conduct security assessments and provide recommendations.
• Maintain secure and robust administration environment.
• Perform server and desktop maintenance; apply patches and updates.
• Lead infrastructure upgrades and project implementations.
• Monitor backups, replication and disaster-recovery environments.
• Report project status and collaborate with end users.
