Job summary

J&T Business Consulting seeks a Senior Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) in Annapolis, MD, to lead and sustain the system security posture across large software and IT programs. You will ensure policy enforcement, incident response, and secure configurations for multiple information domains.

You must hold an active TS/SCI with a current polygraph and have 10+ years of ISSO experience, including SSP development and IAVA management.

Qualifications

> Currently serving as a Senior ISSO with ownership of system security posture.
> Must have at least 10 years of experience as an ISSO operating independently or on teams maintaining secure information system operations.
> Must have at least 5 years of experience using tools to support IAVA management.
> Must have at least 5 years of experience using tools to support SSP preparation and security documentation.
> Demonstrated knowledge of security tools, hardware/software security, communications protocols, and encryption techniques.
> Experience evaluating software systems or architectures for security requirements.
> Experience proposing, coordinating, implementing, and enforcing information security policies on large programs.
> Strong self-initiative and collaborative problem solving.
> Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is required.

Responsibilities

> Provide support for implementing and enforcing information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies.
> Assist in evaluation of security solutions to meet requirements for processing information.
> Assist with Configuration Management for information system security software, hardware, and firmware.
> Analyze threats and develop methodologies for incident detection, reporting, and remediation.
> Maintain records on hardware and software assets and system upgrades.
> Evaluate security solutions to ensure they meet requirements for processing information.
> Maintain operational security posture for information systems.
> Support ISSM in maintaining appropriate IA posture for systems.
> Develop and maintain Certification & Accreditation documentation and SSPs.
> Provide IAVA management support and patching administration.
