Resource Management Concepts, Inc. (RMC) is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) in Charleston, SC to support RMF activities and maintain Authority to Operate for mission systems.

The role collaborates with Government security personnel, developers, and infrastructure engineers to ensure compliance with DoD and IC requirements. The candidate will develop security documentation, assess risk, and resolve findings as systems evolve, with emphasis on formal risk communication and

Formación

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years in cybersecurity, engineering, T&E, or A&A (or 7+ years with high school diploma).
• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph.
• Experience supporting RMF activities and system authorization packages.
• Proficiency with eMASS and ACAS; ability to document controls and evidence.
• Knowledge of DoD/IC security requirements and assessment processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to explain risk to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Support RMF activities to obtain and maintain ATO for systems of various classifications.
• Develop SSPs, control implementation statements, and boundary descriptions.
• Coordinate with owners, ISSMs, assessors, and engineers on authorization packages.
• Maintain POA&Ms and communicate remediation status and risks.
• Use eMASS to track authorization records and remediation status.
• Review ACAS scans and security testing reports; prioritize remediation with teams.
• Assess security impact of software releases and infrastructure changes.
• Support continuous monitoring and evidence collection with cloud/DevSecOps teams.
• Review access controls, logging, baselines, and data protection measures.
• Assist in security incident reporting, investigation, and corrective actions.
