Job summary

2HB Incorporated is seeking a Sr. Information Systems Security Officer in Annapolis Junction, MD. This full-time role requires TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph clearance and 12+ years of related experience, supporting a government customer.

The candidate will lead security operations, enforce policies, maintain security documentation, and ensure compliant configuration management across secure systems and enclaves. Strong DoD and IA knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of hands-on ISSO/security role experience for IC/DoD programs.
• DoD 8140.03 IAM Level II or higher (CASP+/CISSP or higher).

Responsibilities

• Oversee security operations and risk analysis for authorized systems.
• Develop and maintain System Security Plans and lifecycle activities.
• Enforce security policies, standards, and DoD directives across enclaves.
• Administer configuration management for security software, hardware and firmware.
• Provide technical security expertise to stakeholders to strengthen posture.
• Assess vulnerabilities and drive proactive improvements for resilience.
