Job summary

NexTech Solutions seeks an experienced Information Security Systems Officer (ISSO) to partner with the customer ISSO, coordinate RMF activities, implement NIST 800-53 controls, and maintain system security documentation. You will lead ATO processes, monitor security controls, and support audits and tabletop exercises in a hybrid Northern Virginia environment.

The role requires 5+ years in RMF/NIST, strong engineering and project management skills, and excellent report writing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years RMF/NIST 800-53 experience required.

• 3+ years of project management experience.
• Proficiency in writing technical analysis reports.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary liaison to customer ISSO for ATO lifecycle and audits.
• Coordinate vulnerability scanning and remediation activities.
• Develop and maintain System Security Plan and other key security documents.
• Support security controls testing, incident response planning, and security training.
