Network Designs, Inc. (NDi) seeks an experienced Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to provide cybersecurity, RMF, and system authorization support for a large federal enterprise environment.

The ISSO will support multiple systems including enterprise voice and UC services, coordinating with ISSMs, AOs, and stakeholders to maintain security posture and authorization status. The role covers the full authorization lifecycle, artifact collection, vulnerability remediation, POA&M management,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of cybersecurity experience.
• Experience supporting federal RMF and ATO processes.
• Experience developing and maintaining system security documentation and artifacts.
• Experience with vulnerability identification and POA&M management.
• Understanding of security controls, continuous monitoring, risk management, and security assessments.
• Strong technical documentation, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Serve as an ISSO supporting multiple enterprise information systems and security authorization activities.
• Support RMF and ATO lifecycle including authorization, system changes, continuous monitoring, and reauthorization.
• Develop, review, and maintain security documentation (SSPs, POA&Ms, risk assessments, contingency plans).
• Coordinate collection and validation of evidence for security controls.
• Work with system owners and engineers to address security and compliance requirements.
• Review vulnerability findings and coordinate remediation with technical teams.
• Maintain POA&Ms through remediation and closure.
• Support vulnerability scanning, security assessments, audits, and continuous monitoring.
• Review planned changes for cybersecurity impact.
• Translate security requirements into remediation actions.
• Maintain accurate security documentation of architecture and environment.
