Job summary

Network Designs, Inc. (NDi) seeks an experienced Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to provide cybersecurity, RMF, and system authorization support for a large federal enterprise communications environment in Huntsville, Alabama.

The ISSO will work with System Owners, ISSMs, AOs, and cybersecurity stakeholders to maintain security posture and authorization status for multiple systems. The role requires a minimum of 5 years in cybersecurity, RMF, or information assurance, with experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of cybersecurity, information assurance, RMF, or system security experience.
• Experience with federal RMF and ATO processes.
• Ability to develop and maintain security documentation and authorization artifacts.
• Experience with vulnerability identification and POA&M management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an ISSO supporting multiple enterprise information systems and security authorization activities.
• Support RMF and ATO lifecycle including authorization, changes, continuous monitoring, and reauthorization.
• Develop, review, and maintain SSPs, POA&M, risk assessments, and contingency plans.
• Coordinate collection and validation of evidence for security controls.
• Work with system owners and technical teams to address security and compliance requirements.
• Review vulnerability findings and coordinate remediation with technical teams.
• Maintain security documentation reflecting system architecture and posture.
• Provide cybersecurity status and remediation information to stakeholders.
• Support secure operation and modernization of enterprise communications and IT infrastructure.
