Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) seeks a highly motivated Information System Security Officer (ISSO) for the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) at Fort Belvoir, VA. This on-site role focuses on protecting Defense Stockpile Management Systems and implementing RMF across DoD directives.

You will coordinate with government staff, develop ATO/ATC/IATT documentation, perform ST&E planning, and manage vulnerability scanning, risk assessments, and continuous monitoring.

Qualifications

• BA/BS or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.
• 5+ years of IT experience with at least 5+ years ISSO experience.
• Working knowledge of DoD RMF.
• Must meet DoW 8750 requirements and be eligible for IAM level II.
• Required clearance: Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI).
• Ability to work in a team environment and fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform Cybersecurity activities for a large Program; coordinate with government staff and agencies to assist in policy, standards, and procedures.
• Support documentation related to ATO/ATC/IATT/POA&Ms and related plans.
• Assist in development and execution of Security Test and Evaluation plans.
• Provide RMF support for DoW IT authorization and risk mitigation.
• Manage security design for build processes of servers, services, and endpoints.
• Ensure vulnerability management practices are developed, implemented, and enforced.
• Conduct audits for vulnerabilities using STIGs, DISA SCAP, and scanners across multiple OSs.
• Maintain Continuous Monitoring by POA&Ms and Risk Acceptances.
