Job summary

Paragon Technology seeks an experienced Information System Security Officer (ISSO) Lead to support the Department of State's Consular Systems. You will provide leadership for cybersecurity compliance, RMF, A&A, continuous monitoring, and security risk management across assigned systems.

You will maintain system portfolios, prepare briefings and reports, and act as the primary cybersecurity contact. You will ensure documentation, categorization, control implementation, and ongoing monitoring per

Qualifications

• Minimum eight (8) years of relevant experience.
• Experience with RMF, A&A, and FISMA compliance.
• Ability to develop SSPs, POA&Ms, SARs, and RMF artifacts.
• Strong knowledge of NIST SP 800-37 Rev.2, SP 800-53 Rev.5, FIPS 199, SP 800-60.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an accurate portfolio of consular systems, including lifecycle and ATO status.
• Provide leadership for ISSO activities and serve as a security contact.
• Develop and maintain System Security Plans (SSPs) and RMF docs.
• Coordinate with system owners and security stakeholders on risk management.
• Deliver ISSO reports and support RMF/ATO-related activities.
