Job summary

RACTSOL Corp. is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer with extensive ISSO experience to safeguard information systems and ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED with 13–19 years ISSO experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with 9–15 years ISSO experience.
• DoD Directive 8570 IAM Level 1 certification (Security+).
• Experience including at least two areas: security tools, hardware/software security implementation, communication protocols, encryption techniques/tools.

Responsibilities

• Support for an information assurance program for a program, organization, system, or enclave.
• Propose, coordinate, implement, and enforce information security policies, standards, and methodologies.
• Maintain security posture and day-to-day security operations of the system.
• Evaluate security solutions to meet processing security requirements for classified information.
• Perform vulnerability/risk assessment analysis and provide CM for security software, hardware, and firmware.
• Manage changes to the system and assess security impact; prepare SSPs, RAPs, C&A packages, and SRTMs.
• Support security authorization activities in line with NSA/CSS NISCAP.
