Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Senior Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to oversee security programs and evaluate threats and mitigations. The role requires guidance-less leadership, mentoring staff, and delivering timely assessments within the DoD/IC space.

The candidate should have a TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph and a strong background in accreditation processes, risk management, and secure software/applications. A high-level degree in information security is expected.

Qualifications

• 4+ years ISSO experience in DoD or IC
• Experience responding to POAMs and on-time assessment delivery
• Knowledge of managing applications or systems accreditation
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
• Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of information security OR Master’s degree and 8+ years of information security
• Security+ Certification

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations and effectiveness of security-related programs and initiatives
• Assess costs associated with potential threats and solutions to eliminate or minimize threats
• Apply advanced skills, extensive technical expertise, and industry knowledge
