Job summary

Frontier Technology Inc. is seeking an experienced Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to secure information systems used in defense missions. The role requires TS/SCI clearance and DoD/IC space system experience, working with AF policies and RMF guidance at a Colorado Springs location.

The ISSO will ensure proper security posture, coordinate with team members, and maintain compliance with security requirements while supporting mission needs. Must be U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, engineering, mathematics or related field.
• 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• Security+ certification required.
• Experience with DoD/IC space system acquisition programs.
• Knowledge of RMF and DoD/IC cybersecurity requirements.

Responsibilities

• Implements and enforces AF cybersecurity policies, procedures, and countermeasures.
• Maintains required cybersecurity certification IAW AFMAN 17-1303.
• Ensures users have proper clearances and complete annual cybersecurity training.
• Maintains access control documentation IAW AF Records Information Management System.
• Ensures security configurations for software, hardware, and firmware.
• Coordinates changes with ISSM, SCA, and Wing Cybersecurity office.
• Initiates protective or corrective measures when a vulnerability is found.
• Reports incidents per AFI 17-203 and handles deviations/waivers.
