Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) and Cyber Security Subject Matter Expert to drive RMF and A&A across multiple environments. You will ensure designs meet strict security objectives, evaluate architectures, and enforce compliance with NIST SP 800-53 Rev 5 and related standards to safeguard mission-critical systems.

You will guide development teams, perform continuous monitoring, and manage POA&Ms, disaster recovery, and IAVA compliance to protect data integrity

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with substantial security experience (10+ years).
• Experience with RMF/A&A and NIST SP 800-53 Rev 5 required.
• Active TS/SCI CI Poly preferred.
• CompTIA Security+ or higher certification required.
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Oracle Cloud) and security tooling (Nessus, ACAS).

Responsibilities

• Gather situational awareness information within the authorization boundary and create Body of Evidence documents.
• Ensure program systems meet cyber security controls and RMF requirements.
• Review vulnerability scans and develop patching/remediation plans.
• Document justifications for any non-compliant configurations.
• Collaborate with agency A&A personnel to deliver artifacts on time.
• Maintain CMDB data and Service+ tickets for ongoing operations.
