Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) for Fort Meade, MD to support mission-critical DoD programs. You will lead RMF activities, maintain security baselines, and coordinate with assessors in a fast-paced, on-site environment.

The role requires a TS clearance, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and Security+ or higher certification; experience with eMASS, ACAS, STIGs, and RMF processes is essential, offering a demanding, impactful position in national security.

Qualifications

• Hands-on RMF implementation experience.
• Experience briefing AOs and program managers.
• Strong written communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day security posture of assigned information systems.
• Prepare and maintain RMF package artifacts and POA&Ms.
• Coordinate with assessors and authorization officials through ATO cycle.
• Ensure patching and configuration baselines meet requirements.
• Lead security training and awareness activities.
