Job summary

Elucidation Concepts seeks an experienced Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) to oversee the security posture for DoD/IC programs. You will manage RMF activities, prepare SSPs, RARs, SARs, and POA&Ms, and coordinate with AOs, SCAs, and auditors.

The ideal candidate holds TS/SCI with Full Scope Poly, a related Bachelor's degree, DoD 8570 IAM Level III certification, and 14–20 years in ISSM/ISSO roles. This on-site role at Fort Meade collaborates with engineers, admins, and PMs.

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Assurance, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
DoD 8570 IAM Level III certification (e.g., CISSP, CISM, GSLC).
14–20 years experience as ISSM/ISSO; 5-year substitution rule may apply for degree.

Responsibilities

Oversee RMF/DIACAP activities for DoD/IC programs.
Develop, maintain, and review SSPs, RARs, SARs, and POA&Ms.
Coordinate with Authorizing Officials, Security Control Assessors, and auditors to obtain ATO.
Lead vulnerability assessments, risk management, and remediation planning.
Ensure secure system design, configuration management, and lifecycle support.
