Job summary

Galapagos Federal Systems, LLC is seeking an Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) SME Level 4 to support the US Space Force and mission-critical cybersecurity operations. The ISSM will provide senior-level cybersecurity expertise for classified systems, with DoD/IC RMF knowledge and the ability to operate in a highly classified environment.

The role requires RMF leadership, A&A/ATO/IATT experience, and creation of SSPs/SCTMs/POA&Ms, while coordinating with AOs, SCAs, and government

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from ABET-accredited or CAE-designated institution.
• One or more of: Security+, CCSP, CAP/CAS, CASP+, Cloud+, SSCP, GSEC or equivalent.
• Desirable: CISSP, CISSP-ISSMP, GCIA, GCSA, GSLC, FITSP-M or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level cybersecurity and IA support for classified systems and networks.
• Lead RMF activities including A&A, ATO, IATT, and continuous ATO requirements.
• Develop and maintain RMF docs: SSPs, SCTMs, POA&Ms, and authorization files.
• Coordinate with AOs, SCAs, config managers, and government stakeholders.
• Prepare cybersecurity briefings and technical documentation for leadership.
