Job summary

KBR, Inc. seeks an Information System Security Manager (ISSM) in El Segundo, CA to lead A&A activities, develop RMF artifacts, and enforce cybersecurity practices across systems.

You will coordinate with government and contractor teams, assess compliance with NIST SP 800-53/171 and DISA guidelines, and drive risk remediation strategies. The role requires an active DoD TS clearance with SCI eligibility, a DoD 8570-compliant cert, and 5+ years in classified environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Active DoD Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Current DoD 8570-compliant certification.
• 5+ years of ISSM/ISSO experience in classified environments.
• Experience supporting RMF authorization and compliance activities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as onsite representative of Information Assurance Operations and provide cybersecurity SME input.
• Conduct risk and vulnerability assessments to identify security risks and protection requirements.
• Lead RMF/ A&A meetings with government and contractor personnel.
• Support development and implementation of cybersecurity policies and procedures.
