Job summary

Abacus Technology Corporation is seeking a Cyber Security SME to serve as an Information System Security Manager (ISSM) for the C3I&N Directorate at Hanscom AFB. The role emphasizes RMF guidance, security policy development, and technical advisory support to AOs.

The candidate should have 15+ years IT experience with a strong cyber security background, DoD policy familiarity, and a TS clearance. This is a full-time, on-site position at Hanscom AFB, MA.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years in cyber security within IT.
• Master’s degree required; additional years may substitute.
• Certification in DoD 8140 IAM Level III (GSLC/CISM/CISSP) required.
• Familiar with RMF, DIACAP, STIGs, IA controls.
• Experience with app/service development/architecture, testing, and admin.
• Strong Windows and Linux admin skills; AD and scripting.
• Networking with routers, switches, and firewalls; Cisco/Juniper experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Serve as ISSM and technical advisor to AOs, ensuring security posture and RMF compliance.
• Support and guide RMF implementation and A&A activities.
• Develop and maintain formal information security programs and policies.
• Coordinate and report on IS/Platform IT system assessments and authorization.
• Direct ISSO activities to ensure adherence to cybersecurity policies.
• Monitor cybersecurity policy compliance and coordinate security reviews.
• Report security events or changes to AO and stakeholders.
• Ensure secure configurations and control over IT products and services.
