Job summary

Abacus Technology Corporation seeks a Cyber Security SME to serve as an ISSM and technical advisor for the C3I&N Directorate at Hanscom AFB. This full-time role focuses on maintaining security posture, RMF implementation, and DoD compliance for major information systems.

The incumbent will lead A&A activities, coordinate with the AO and ISSO, and ensure proper reporting, documentation, and risk management across DoD platforms and networks.

Qualifications

• Fifteen plus years in IT, with at least ten years in cybersecurity.
• Master's degree in a related field.
• US citizen with current Top Secret clearance.
• DoD RMF/DIA/IA controls experience and relevant certifications.
• Strong Windows and Linux administration knowledge; AD, scripting and security hardening.
• Networking experience with routers, switches, firewalls; Cisco/Juniper familiarity.
• Experience with A&A processes, DoD information systems, and system security management.

Responsibilities

• Serve as ISSM and provide technical cybersecurity guidance to the AO and project team.
• Lead RMF implementation and information system security program development.
• Coordinate cybersecurity policy compliance, inspections, testing, and artifact generation.
• Oversee A&A activities, assess and guide artifacts per DoD and AF policies.
• Ensure secure configuration and reporting of incidents and potential data spills.
