Job summary

Quevera is seeking an Information Systems Security Engineer in Maryland to support information assurance programs and security operations. The role requires a current TS/SCI with Poly clearance and DoD 8570 IASAE Level I compliance, with CASP+ CE, CISSP (or Associate), CSSLP credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for a program, organization, system, or enclave’s information assurance program
• Provide security guidance to system developers, administrators, and owners
• Assess security impact of changes to the system
• Maintain security documentation such as SSPs
• Conduct security assessments in support of system authorization
• Support AO/DAO, SCA, and ISSM on A&A duties to obtain/maintain ATOs
• Daily review of and respond to security-related tickets
• Communicate system status and compliance using COTS/GOTS tools

REQUIRED - MUST have a current TS/SCI Polygraph clearance to apply for role. Only those with a current TS/SCI with Poly clearance will be considered.

Duties And Responsibilites

• Provide support for a program, organization, system, or enclave’s information assurance program
• Provide security guidance and support to system developers, administrators, and owners
• Provide guidance and support for directed changes related to security
• Assess the security impact of changes to the system
• Help maintain the Security documentation, such as SSPs
• Conduct security assessments on systems in support of system authorization
• Support AO/DAO, SCA, and ISSM on system Assessment and Authorization (A&A) duties to obtain and maintain ATOs
• Conduct daily review of and respond to security related tickets
• Utilize COTS/GOTS to communicate system status and compliance
