LMI seeks a Senior Cybersecurity ISSE to support US Army RMF ATO efforts in Detroit, MI. Active SECRET clearance and onsite presence are required.

The role encompasses defining security requirements, continuous monitoring, and advising government teams across cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments. The candidate will craft and maintain SSPs/POAMs, run RMF activities, and help prepare ATO submissions while leveraging DoD policies and state-of-the-art scanning tools.

Qualificações

• Active SECRET security clearance is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, CS, IS, Data Science, or Software Engineering (ABET or NCAE-C).
• 5+ years of hands-on system/security engineering in U.S. Government systems.
• Experience with government cloud platforms (Azure, C2S, GovCloud).
• Proven RMF documentation experience (SSPs, POAMs).
• Experience with DoD technologies and policies.
• Hands-on with eMASS for compliance reporting.
• Knowledge of DoD STIGs, NIST 800-53, 800-53A.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with system engineers, program managers, and Authorizing Officials to define and implement system security requirements.
• Lead efforts to ensure continuous monitoring and verification of cybersecurity requirements throughout the system lifecycle.
• Serve as a trusted cybersecurity advisor to government stakeholders and contractor teams.
• Design, review, and refine system security architectures for cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments.
• Support RMF processes to achieve and maintain ATO approvals.
• Identify, track, and mitigate security control gaps ensuring alignment with standards.
• Conduct risk and vulnerability assessments and develop SSPs.
• Manage Interim Authority to Test (IATT) activities and ATO processes.
• Analyze security control deficiencies and assess impact on risk.
• Work with ISSM and product teams to identify gaps and prepare POAM plans.
• Guide engineers on vulnerability mitigation using DoD policies and best practices.
• Provide cybersecurity engineering expertise in risk treatment strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure systems.
• Develop dashboards to monitor platform controls, logs, and compliance.
• Demonstrate cloud cybersecurity implementation expertise.
• Apply NIST 800-53 Rev 4/5 controls and 800-53A assessment procedures.
