Job summary

Redhorse Corporation is seeking a Principal Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) to serve as a recognized authority in information assurance and security engineering. The role involves addressing highly complex technical challenges, shaping security architectures, and leading capability briefings to potential clients.

The position requires active TS/SCI with FS Poly, a Bachelor's degree or higher with extensive experience, and a proven track record in DIACAP/NIACAP and NIST 800-37/DCID

Qualifications

• Recognized expertise in information assurance and information systems security engineering duties.
• Extensive experience in certification and accreditation of information systems using DIACAP, NIACAP, NIST SP 800-37, and/or DCID 6/3 frameworks.
• Proven track record of solving unusually complex technical problems with innovative solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical briefings and support business development/capture efforts.

Responsibilities

• Act as a recognized authority providing IA services for complex network and information security systems.
• Lead unusually complex technical problem solving with innovative security solutions.
• Lead efforts to capture new business through high-level technical work, research, and capability briefings to prospective clients.
• Design, develop, and implement advanced security applications and architectures.
• Prepare system security plans, risk mitigation strategies, and contingency plans.
• Conduct risk and vulnerability assessments and certify systems to meet requirements.
