Job summary

Warrant Technologies seeks an Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) Level III aligned with DoD IASAE Level III to provide expert-level security engineering for critical DoD networks and information systems. The role serves as SME, integrating security through the system lifecycle to protect highly sensitive environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of progressive experience in system engineering, information assurance, or cybersecurity.
• IASAE Level III baseline qualifications required.
• Secret security clearance required; Security+, CASP+ or CISSP preferred.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in CS/Information Security/System Engineering; four years of ISSE experience may substitute for a degree.

Responsibilities

• Integrates security requirements into system acquisition, engineering, and development.
• Hardens interfaces, data stores, and cloud environments using systems engineering methods.
• Maintains RMF documentation (SSPs, SAPs, SARs, POA&Ms).
• Supports certification activities for IATT/ATO; serves as SME to government stakeholders and teams.
• Leads security reviews and threat modeling; analyzes logs to harden defenses.
• Designs end-to-end security solutions for networks, databases, and enterprise systems.
• Incorporates Zero Trust, boundary protection, and cryptographic controls.
