Job summary

Warrant Technologies seeks an Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) Level III aligned with DoD IASAE Level III to deliver expert-level security engineering across complex Department of War networks and information systems.

As SME, you’ll integrate security principles throughout the system lifecycle, driving secure design, implementation, and operations with a focus on Zero Trust and cryptographic controls. Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in system engineering, information assurance, or cybersecurity.
• IASAE Level III baseline qualifications requirements.
• Security clearance: Secret.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in a related technical discipline; four years of ISSE experience may substitute for a degree.

Responsibilities

• Integrates security requirements into system acquisition, engineering, and development phases.
• Harden interfaces, data repositories, and cloud environments using systems engineering methods.
• Prepare, review, and maintain RMF security documentation (SSPs, SAPs, SARs, POA&Ms).
• Support certification activities for IATT and ATO; act as SME to government stakeholders and engineering teams.
• Lead technical walkthroughs and security reviews with government and industry groups.
• Conduct threat modeling and vulnerability assessments; analyze logs to harden defenses.
• Provide expertise to contain and mitigate real or potential security incidents.
• Design end-to-end security solutions for networks, databases, and enterprise systems.
• Incorporate Zero Trust, boundary protection, firewalls, and cryptographic controls.
